Arthur Woodson is a longtime Flint resident and community activist who fights corruption tooth and nail.

Since the discovery 2015 of Flint's water crisis, Woodson has been boots on the ground fighting for the residents of Flint to bring clean and safe drinking water back to the community.

He is committed to doing what's right even though it is not always an easy journey. Woodson promises to continue to fight for Flint to make the community whole again, be accessible, approachable and proactive. As mayor, he will continue to listen to resident voices by keeping an open door policy at city hall and developing a roundtable approach for community feedback.

 

Woodson will continue his fight to decrease crime, improve the quality of life for Flint residents with encouraging economic development and an overhaul of Flint's education system for the community's children by working with community partners, the Flint City Council and residents.
